COVID-19 testing is available at our Turnersville & Moorestown locations by appointment only(Princeton coming soon). Please book your appointment for the proper test and fill out the intake form. Please be sure to call or text the office’s main number when you arrive so that we can assist you in your appointment. Please remain in your car and refrain from coming into the office at this time.
When you arrive at Dragonfly Health for one of our tests, please make sure you are wearing a mask or protective face covering over your nose and mouth. This should only be lowered when asked by our clinical staff in order to collect the testing sample. The sample will be collected by taking a swab of your upper nasal cavity, which is processed on-site. The swab, which only takes a brief moment, is mildly uncomfortable and should not cause any pain. We will provide you with guidance on how to take the swab and help with anything other questions you may have. Additional steps are required for the insurance.
In accordance with the Executive Order President Biden signed on January 21, 2021, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) together with the Department of Labor and the Department of the Treasury issued new guidance removing barriers to COVID-19 diagnostic testing. There should be no additional cost sharing for diagnostic covid-19 testing even if a person has no symptoms or was not exposed. Private group health plans and issuers cannot deny coverage or impose cost-sharing for COVID-19 diagnostic testing.
For the antigen test and the anti-body test you will need to pay out of pocket for your test. If you wish to submit for insurance reimbursement you can email reciepts@dragonflyhc.com and receive an itemized bill which you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement. Each issuer will make a determination, we cannot guarantee that your insurance will reimburse your claim
For the Cepheid test we need to make a medical determination on if you qualify for said test. We can see patients with all commercial and public insurances even if we are not in network so long as they fall within the required law from the Cares Act. A list of insurance companies are found in the scheduling section or you can call our main office number before booking.
